The Somali language is spoken on the edge of the Horn Africa along the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean coastline of Djibouti, and Somalia. The total number of Somali speakers worldwide is 15 million. Somali is the official language of Somalia and is spoken in Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Kenya.
