Everyone needs a break from studying and coursework! Take a break with us this semester from for fun, informal drop-in activities. From crafts, puzzles and more, join us for something new! No registration is required; just stop by and enjoy!

When: Every other Monday beginning September 8 from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Autumn Semester Brain Breaks

Brain Breaks are drop-in any time between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the following dates, no registration required. 

  • September 8 - Making Kindness Cards and Kindness Bingo

 

  • September 22 - Crafting with pipe cleaners: Make a creature, alien, or anything else your mind can conjure with these versatile craft supplies.

 

  • October 6 - Coloring is an easy way to relax, clear your head, and take a break from the chaos of college life—no artistic skills required.

 

  • October 20 - Bracelet making: Making bracelets is a fun, hands-on way to relax, ease anxiety, and boost your mood.

 

  • November 3 - Clay figures: Playing with clay is a fun, hands-on way to tap into your creativity, take a break from screens while making something totally unique.

 

  • November 17 - Pennant flags: Crafting pennant flags adds a burst of color and personality to any space, and it's the perfect way to relax and enjoy a study break! 

 

  • December 1 - Bookmark making: Want to add a personal touch to the books you read? Come join us for bookmark making! It's a great way to destress and unwind. 

 

First Year Experience Specialist
