I am a fourth-year student at The Ohio State University at the Fisher College of Business, specializing in Management Information Systems with a minor in Women's, Gender and Sexualities Studies. As the recipient of the 2022 Ohio State University Undergraduate Research Library Fellowship, I authored the library research guide "The New Jim Code and Decoding Bias". This project was a self-guided research experience under the mentorship of e-Resources Metadata and Discovery Librarian, Sherab Chen. The guide focuses on the concept of the “New Jim Code,” a term, coined by Ruha Benjamin, author of the book "Race After Technology: Abolitionist Tools for the New Jim Code".
