This guide provides an introduction to collection resources in the Latin American, Iberian, Spanish & Portuguese (LAT) Area Studies Collection at The Ohio State University.

The Ohio State University Libraries’ Area Studies collections foster global competency, language proficiency, and awareness of some of the world’s most important regions. Its Latin American and Iberian collection (LAT) supports interdisciplinary research and scholarship pertaining to the peoples and cultures of Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries and Indigenous-speaking areas. It is the largest of its type in the state.
