The book stacks at all University Libraries locations are closed. Patrons affiliated with The Ohio State University can submit requests for physical materials held at Ohio State through the online catalog, for OhioLINK materials through the OhioLINK catalog, and for interlibrary loan items through ILLiad.  

Once your request is ready, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that the material is ready for pick-up.

Scanning and electronic delivery of materials from Thompson Library Special Collections, University Archives and Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum has resumed. You may submit requests via the email addresses listed below.

Scanning of articles and chapters from Library print collections through ILLiad Article Express service has also resumed.

In alignment with the latest Ohio State COVID-19 guidelines, University Libraries locations are closed to the public until further notice. Libraries extensive electronic resources remain accessible. Campus delivery and contact-free pickup and return of physical materials are available at Thompson Library. Patrons affiliated with The Ohio State University can submit requests for physical materials held at Ohio State through the online catalog, for OhioLINK materials through the OhioLINK catalog, and for interlibrary loan items through ILLiad.

Scanning and electronic delivery of materials from Thompson Library Special Collections, University Archives and Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum has resumed. You may submit requests via the email addresses listed below.

Scanning of articles and chapters from Library print collections through ILLiad Article Express service continues.

Additionally, HathiTrust has opened emergency temporary access to University Libraries' copyrighted material in their digital library. This action from HathiTrust allows digital access to nearly two million volumes, corresponding to approximately 46% of the print collections held at Ohio State. More information can be found here.
