Please be aware that when we're talking about data like this that needs to be collected from many different sources and involves nuances of categorization, definitions, policies, etc., that there are always going to be debates about how to most accurately capture a real-world, and evolving, situation. You should understand where and how the data was collected and/or analyzed and make your own judgements.
For all of these nation-level datasets, also remember that most nations have a national statistical agency website. This is one of the first places I would be going to look for many of these things. (You can search national statistics + nation name in any search engine and you should find the site, though, of course, the English-language content may be more limited.)
