Country Reviews include political, economic, investment, social and environmental overviews and reports can be downloaded in PDF format. World Bank Open Data Freely available economic data by country, including Trade indicators.

International Monetary Fund (IMF) Data This link opens in a new window The IMF Data tool provides access to macroeconomic and financial data for 190 countries. Major datasets include Balance of Payment Statistics, International Financial Statistics, and Direction of Trade Statistics.

This is a best bet database for business literature searching. The database is focused particularly on scholarly literature, but it also includes many international business periodicals, including The Economist.
