OSU has one of the world's largest collections of manga and manga-related materials outside of Japan! With over 30,000 volumes of manga and ephemera including advertisements, posters, and original art, our world-class collection has been growing since its inception in the mid-1980s. It covers all genres and demographics and contains popular and contemporary titles as well as rare cartoons from the nineteenth century. Our distinctive materials are held at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum, while many of our more contemporary and popular manga are located in our main campus library and available for check out. Designed for SNS. This is similar to a short comic published in a newspaper. 1 page-length episodes are added and updated frequently.
