Morningstar is an investment research database that allows the user to screen lists of stocks, mutual funds or ETFs based on a number of variables. Individual company pages provide company financials and key ratios as well as analyst coverage.

NetAdvantage has detailed company financials and also allows the user to chart a number of market metrics (volume, price, etc.) and even compare the company's data to other companies, indices, etc. You can then download the charting data into Excel.

Mergent Online has good ownership data, as well as company financials, and allows users to build a company report, or a comparison report to view the company's data against chosen competitors.
