The Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD) is a computer animation and emerging technologies interdisciplinary research center. We function as a collaborative space to make, create, imagine and connect. ACCAD is internationally recognized as one of the original and leading centers of its kind, distinguished by the transdisciplinary approach to research and teaching which is central to its identity. ACCAD functions as an applied collaboratory for time-based digital media production, both in furthering the excellence of its faculty and graduate students in residence and cultivating its own innovative research agenda. Located in the newly renovated Sullivant Hall at the heart of The Ohio State University’s Arts District, our work unfolds in a generous physical space, complemented by specialized and flexible studios for animation, motion capture, interactive design, media production and mediated performance design. ACCAD’s collaborative partnerships include a wide interdisciplinary range of campus disciplines and external relationships.

When affordable third party solutions don't exist or can't meet the needs of the college, ASC Technology Services' Application Development team will build custom applications based in three basic categories: research, educational management, and
social and mobile applications.

The Emerging Technology Studio (ETS) is an incubation space designed to empower researchers, faculty, and students with emerging technologies and provide a framework to engage in transdisciplinary thinking, creative problem solving and experiential learning.

Research Computing Facilitation supports a broad range of research information technology needs. Our team offers: day-to-day laboratory instrument and research computer support; computation management and storage resources; data sharing and management consultation; and coordinated interactions with other groups in ASCTech, the university and beyond. While we offer specific services, recognizing the nature of research throughout Arts and Sciences, we also work on a consulting or even more exploratory basis.

The Digital Media Project (DMP) serves as a digital and technology hub for the Department of English. The DMP main office is in 324 Denney Hall, and our four supported classrooms are also on the third floor of Denney. We support students’ academic and intellectual growth during their time at The Ohio State University, we prepare students to be tech- and digital-media-savvy professionals after they leave our campus, and we train our instructors so that they can incorporate cutting-edge digital media pedagogy into their teaching both in our department and in future faculty positions.

At the Ohio Supercomputer Center, our mission is to empower Ohio higher educational institutions, both public and private, as well as private industry, by providing capable, accessible, reliable and secure computational services enhanced by training, consulting and research partnership.

The Research Commons is a campus community where graduate students, faculty, and postdoctoral researchers can connect with experts for support at any stage in the research lifecycle.Focus areas include research data, data visualization, geographic information systems (GIS), and digital humanities.

Subject librarians assist with research queries, reference questions, buying a book for the collection, recommendations of journal titles, and other general questions related to library services.
