Reference Assistance and Borrowing

Reference staff are available to provide basic assistance in locating government documents and information. This includes searching the library catalog and library databases. Patrons needing more in-depth assistance may be referred to Subject Librarians, the Government Documents Librarian and/or staff, and/or subject specialists at other federal, state or national libraries/archives.

OSU faculty, staff, students, and Courtesy Card holders may borrow circulating documents from OSU Libraries collections and other library consortiums such as OhioLINK. Non-OSU patrons should use the interlibrary loan service of the academic or corporate library with which they are affiliated or that of their local public library.
