Did you know about all of the settings that you can customize as a SciFinder user? When you navigate to your settings, there are a plethora of options you can customize in order to create the best SciFinder experience for yourself. Look through the tabbed box below to see what settings there are!

The default setting is that when a user selects a filter, it will automatically be applied after a few seconds. If you don't like this, you can change the setting to Manually Apply the Filters. This means that you can click as many filters as you like and take more than a few seconds to look between filter selections, you just then have to remember to hit apply!

Are there filters that you always use? Or filters that you'll never use? You can customize the order and filters available on substance, references, reactions, or suppliers results pages.
Once you select edit on the desired subject, you have the ability to drag filters so that they don't appear at all, as well as customize the order. Don't worry, you can always reset to the default if you want!
If I were a regulatory professional, I may consider moving the regulatory associated filters to the top so they are the first thing I see:

The default is to show the Preferred Name for the substance when on the result screen, but if you'd prefer to see the assigned CA Index Name, this is a setting you can turn on.
