Zoom provides you with the ability to host a meeting, class, or workshop for up to 300 people. To get started, go to: Hosting CarmenZoom Meetings

Staying Connected with Students

If you are providing instruction asynchronously, it is important that students know how they can contact you if they need assistance.

Consider setting up office hours through Zoom:

1. Schedule recurring meetings

2. Use the waiting room feature to admit students one at a time

Other options for connecting with students include:

  • LibWizard: Provide students with the link to a survey or form where they can ask questions.
  • Carmen Canvas: If you are collaborating with a course instructor, ask them to share an announcement providing students with your contact information. Or, request to be added to a course as a course designer, so that you can create announcements or discussion board posts.
